Reason and forgivness

By Marius Dima on Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

Superiority of the reason: A war criminal has a decent and human trial.

md: The verdict will be written on his cross. In that moment the ‘equilibrium’ is established. There is no forgiveness or feelings.

dm: I bet if we turned Forgiveness into a habit, a better world would be the outcome of Redemption than that of punishment or death.

md: Forgiveness it is God’s feature. We have our own way to “forgive”. It could be because we do not really believe in God.

dm: Indeed, one cannot be forgiving by The Book unless they are rooted in God. It’s too much a self-less act for a mere human being.
md: Justice is the name of our ‘forgiveness’. We have to “bury” history’s mistakes somehow.

dm: How about forgiveness?

dm: Don’t believe in ‘bury and forget’. Since it’s there, it can be unburied anytime. Forgiveness, on the other hand, is meant to SHIFT+DEL…
md: You know why there is so much H8 (hate) in our society?
We are forced to forgive by forget (subjective issues) and this is not justice, this is pain.

dm: Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth, the Life.” For one who made such gigantesque claim and ended as a martyr, Forgiveness was top priority.

md: Should we mix religion (God laws) and justice (humans laws)?
